Munari
supplemento al dizionario italiano poster
Bruno Munari was a visionary Italian illustrator known for his playful, experimental, and innovative approach to visual art. Blending simplicity with imagination, his illustrations often explored movement, abstraction, and the intersection of art and design. He created striking graphic works that communicated complex ideas through minimal forms, humor, and visual poetry.
Inspired by supplemento al dizionario italiano (Supplement to Italian dictionary) this poster is a collection of some of the most famous pictures of hands realized by Bruno Munari. He created with them a sort of visual Italian dictionary with explanations for each gesture, so that "the documentation is as precise as possible. It is an ideal supplement to the Italian dictionary for use by foreign visitors"
